Our Coolock branch joined as a proud member of the Village Vets family in 2016 and is situated inside the Maxi Zoo pet shop.
We have two consulting rooms, separate dog and cat wards, a surgical theatre, diagnostic facilities including an x-ray room, and a dental room. We have a light and comfortable reception area and we’re passionate about fear free techniques to help make every one of our patients’ visits to see us as comfortable as possible.
We are conveniently located on the Malahide Road industrial park and our clients can take advantage of the large, free car park shared by all of our neighbours.

Pet health plan
We're very proud of our innovative Pet Health Plan, which includes unlimited vet visits. We believe that the cost of a consultation should never be a barrier to getting expert advice, and the practice has over 1000 pets taking advantage of the fantastic benefits it offers. All of our team members are pet owners and we all choose to enrol our pets on to the Pet Health Plan, as we all believe it provides the best level of care for our loved ones.
Village Vets Coolock
Our family have come on a long journey since 1980 when our dad, Karl Cosgrave, bought the veterinary practice in Dunshaughlin. Like all families, we’ve grown and changed since then. These days we’re proud to be working with the best vets and nurses in Ireland across our state of the art clinics in Meath and Dublin.

Supporting our local community
We take great pride in giving back to the Coolock community, and contribute wherever we can, offering discounted services to charities such as Dogs Trust, Mollies Animal Rescue and Kildare Animal Welfare. We also regularly treat sick and injured wildlife for free – and are happy to help if you have a problem with wildlife in the area!
We are a 10 minute drive from Clontarf promenade, where you can often find our team walking our dogs – so do say hi if you bump into us!
